Who Is This Transport Manager CPC Course For?
Learner's will join our training course as a part of their preparations to achieve
qualification by examination. Typically our course those who prefer a face-to-face learning method.
You may be looking to get a standard operators licence to operate goods vehicles as an owner driver or franchisee for Hire or Reward activities. A professionally competent person is required and a qualified Transport Manager will have 'licence to practice.'
Some Learners are already employed in other positions in existing haulage or distribution companies, and wish to be considered for promotion, or to be part of a succession plan. We have proudly prepared fourth generation members from family-based haulage businesses.
There will be learners who do not work in the Transport Industry, but seek to enhance existing skills and experience, and improve career options

Ten Days of in-person guided learning within a small group of likeminded learners
A syllabus aligned study manual with a guided reading programme
Fees for two invigilated exams :
Paper 1 (Multi-choice)
Paper 2 (Case study)
Tutors deliver sessions in a discussion-led format. (No 'death-by-Power Point' at Transportwise)
Mock testing and revision support
Refreshments during the day (tea/coffee/water/etc)
Due to the varying dietry requirements of our students, we do not provide lunch. However there are food outlets within a short drive or walk (including Greggs approx 200 mtrs away)

I attended the course with Transport wise 5 years ago. I was very nervous going into the course as it was the biggest academic course I had ever taken. I was immediately put at ease by the tutor Mr David Pryce. Very much a people person. I found his tutoring and the way he presented it very easy to understand and if there were any issues he was happy to stay and explain in terms i/we could understand.
He made the course enjoyable everyday but at the same time made sure the seriousness of what we would be qualifying for was understood.
